Experience Hobart’s most iconic dining destination a little earlier.

Introducing the Early Evening Menu at The Point Revolving Restaurant, available Tuesday to Friday with an exclusive 5:30pm seating. Enjoy two courses and a drink for $99 while taking in sweeping views of the River Derwent, city skyline and beyond.

Choose from a seasonal menu featuring dishes such as freshly shucked oysters, twice-baked gruyère soufflé, market fish, braised short rib and indulgent desserts including panna cotta, mille-feuilles and amaretto coffee semifreddo. Guests can also elevate their experience with a selection of Point signature favourites available as optional supplements.

The menu at The Point weaves classic French technique with the richness of Tasmania’s seasonal produce. Expect thoughtful, elegant dishes that let quality ingredients speak, paired with a wine list curated to complement every course.

Classic tableside flambé is a defining part of The Point experience, with three signature dishes bringing theatre and tradition to the dining room. There is a flambé option for every course, concluding with Crepes Suzette, where citrus, butter and liqueur meet flame for a memorable finale high above Hobart.

Meet the Head Chef

Chef Francesco leads the kitchen, bringing a refined yet heartfelt approach shaped by his Sardinian roots and classical French training. With experience at Peppina, Mures Upper Deck and Sydney’s Felix, his cooking honours tradition while introducing subtle contemporary expression.
