Richmond is a historic town in the Coal River Valley Area. Most of Richmond Village was constructed by convicts in the early 1800’s and you can still see many of these structures today. It is a great spot to have a picnic and feed the ducks. The Coal Valley is home to beautiful vineyards you can stop by on your way. Known locally as TMAG, this unique space is a combined museum, art gallery and herbarium. It is Australia’s second oldest museum and home to more than 2000 square metres of amazing exhibition spaces.
Admission is free but donations are always welcome.
