Tasman Room
Tasmania’s premier multi-purpose auditorium has played host to many of Tasmania’s most prestigious and memorable events. Featuring a full theatre-style main stage, it comfortably accommodates gala balls, symphonies, business conferences, concerts, shows, dinners, exhibitions, meetings and functions.
The Tasman Room can be opened onto the Plenary Hall, delivering theatre-style seating for up to 1650 guests.

- Flexibility is the key to the Tasman Room as many set up configurations are possible.
- Interior sliding walls means the area can be configured into two or three separate meeting rooms, perfect for concurrent sessions and workshops. Each smaller room has its own drop down projection screen and sound system.
- A secure Speakers Room is located nearby.
- We can offer up to 45 of our own trade booths
- Streamlined exhibitor service, including signage, lighting, power, deliveries etc.
- Catering can be in the Tasman Room or in the Exhibition Foyer for larger trade shows
- Full production stage, 2 x motorised projection screens located either side of the stage, fly tower and a lift for transporting heavy items.
- Full LED room wash lighting, top of the range moving light rig and sound system.
- Guests arrive via the Exhibition Foyer, a stunning location for pre-dinner drinks or breakout area.
Accessible entrances are available for both upper and lower level. Please park on level 1 car park and walk across the bridge to access the Tasman Room.
